The trump reign of terror has had one ironically positive affect; we know hella more about American government. These past three years have been nothing if not a long harrowing civics lesson. After twelve years of US history I knew two things for sure; there are three branches of government and Eli Whitney invented the Cotton Gin. Now I can spell emoluments, subpoena, and indictment. Is quid pro quo the same as bribery? Pah- child’s play! What’s the difference between Private Attorney and Bagmam. Seriously?! Good times…Ha...ha.
That is great! Thank you for all that effort in writing that. It's educational, too. I don't know about some of those players. You have alerted me to them. You have focused my attention on them.
OK...I learned a new word or two, and giggled a bit; but I am definitely not as up to speed on the characters, as you are. Would love to see Elizabeth as V.P., but doubt Biden will choose someone so close to his age, or so progressive (although that might have some impact on the younger voters). The question is...can Warren handle both jobs, or could she have enough impact on Education in her role as V.P.?
Note - I believe it is "effect" (noun) in this case, rather than "affect" (typically a verb). And,, consider adding a comma in the second sentence before the "if." Have you submitted this to The New York Times or Washington Post? What are you waiting for?
this is a test comment
